The Wilmington – Cape Fear Home Builders Association (WCFHBA) announced a major new home market research initiative today through a direct affiliation with MarketGraphics® Research Group, Inc. out of Brentwood, Tennessee, with the formation of MarketGraphics® – Coastal Carolinas, Inc.
MarketGraphics® – Coastal Carolinas, Inc. will be the one-stop source of new home market research products in a 12-county market that encompasses Georgetown and Horry Counties in South Carolina and Hoke, Harnett, Cumberland, Brunswick, New Hanover, Pender, Onslow, Carteret, Craven, and Pitt Counties in North Carolina.
MarketGraphics® Research Group, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in the new home market research industry and is one of the largest privately-owned research companies of its kind in the United States. For more than 25 years they have provided fresh, updated market data and new home market research information for builders, developers, banks, city and county governments, utility companies and many more industries. Each quarter a team of field auditors from MarketGraphics® – Coastal Carolinas, Inc. will be driving the streets of every platted new-home subdivision in the 12-county market inspecting every home site and compiling the most accurate market data in the industry. The raw data will then be processed, analyzed, and compiled into a final report which will provide the basis for the market’s forecasting demands. Additional market factors such as over-building/under-building, permit trends, economic conditions, the existing home market, and the apartment market will also be captured and factored into the forecast.
